'Additional' Licensing Scheme Doncaster has gone live as of 1st October 2018.

As you may be aware Doncaster Council has designated parts of Doncaster Town Centre, Hyde Park, Balby North, Wheatley and Intake for an Additional Licensing scheme and Article 4 Direction.  

For the Additional Licensing Scheme we are pleased to announce that DMBC have selected Home Safe as their delivery support partner and we want to make sure you are aware of this in case you have any HMOs in these areas that currently do not require a mandatory licence but are of the size that they will now require an 'Additional' licence.

For clarities sake the Article 4 basically means the withdrawal of permitted development rights that currently allow houses to be converted into HMOs without planning permission when they are to be occupied by 6 or fewer people).
